Actually the drive is more like six hours from Dar es Salaam – 4 hours to Mikumi and then between 90 mins to 2 hours, depending on weather and state of the final 25km of dirt graded road to the NP gate. Drive is pretty cool though as you pass Mikumi NP so you get a bit of a game drive on the way. Buses run from ubungo in DSM, or there is the TAZARA train – great way to travel but you can’t rely on its timetable or ticket availability. For help ask me at Hondo Hondo Udzungwa Forest Camp
very easy, road is tarmac, you can drive there for 4 hours, there are regional buses, towards that direction, and i am sure they can drop you off near the place. There nice lodge called “Udzungwa Falls Dipa Lodge”, they can pick you up from the nearest place…good luck, i am sure you would enjoy it if you like nature
Nice video. Is it easy to sort out travel to Udzungwa from Dar?
Donderdag vragen en een dag later staat er nieuw materiaal online, wat een service! Mooie beelden trouwens!
