Leave Me

Want to download the theme from Leave Me? We’re running a Kickstarter to finish our first feature film, Greyscale, and the theme is only a $1 donation. Every bit helps until February 3rd! www.kickstarter.com “Dear Shane,” the 2nd in the Camera Trilogy has premiered on Hulu! Here is the film: www.hulu.com A recent widower deals with his grief through his wife’s broken camera. *UPDATE* 4 MINUTE VERSION AVAILABLE HERE: www.hulu.com *EDIT* Some people have asked what Jack says during the beginning because it isn’t completely clear. He says: “It broke during the wreck.” UPDATE: Due to the contest’s time restraints, we had to cut at least a minute of footage (mostly the party scene and the brothers by the reservoir), and while we hate to do that to our actors, we are pleased to announce we are working on putting out a longer version with everything that was missing from this one, so stay tuned! @Msdistarr Yes, it makes absolute sense to me. Not a day goes by I don’t relive that horrible day when I lost my soul mate, life companion, partner, whatever you choose to call him. I know I’m not alone. It hard for me to watch still. And yes, I still cry. Grief eases over time, but memories never do. Thanks for your kind words. They’re powerful.
@jaclyn1236 I understand exactly what you are saying. I would also make the same decision. Without a moments hesitation. I cannot put into words, how I felt the first time I saw this film. I cried like a baby. It felt so personal to me. And it was the first time I realized that if someone could create something that refelected this extreme depth of feeling, than I wasn’t alone in feeling it. Does that make sense? I don’t know how else to describe it. I still cry when I watch it.

A really beautiful and heart-warming film, about the pain of loss and the joy of togetherness. Very touching – thank you for making it.
This was beautifully done for such a short film. The music and scenes were superbly done. I loved it and it makes me cry EVERY time! lol The undying love you can only experience with a true soul mate and the unconditional and loyalty that only a parent can give. Bravo! I hope one day we can see full-length movies with this much heartfelt emotion in the future.

His dad is really a great father.
